In southern Belgium, in the valley of Semois, near Luxembourg, this old mill house is a charming inn perfect for a weekend visit. Amusingly the name hideux means hideous but that is far from the truth as the name actually comes from an old expression meaning two mills. Chef Philippe Duret likes to prepare good simple food from local recipes, but also more complicated dishes such as roast pigeon and fried sea bass. Service is very friendly.
