Richard Neat used to be the chef and co-owner of Pied a Terre in London but then he and his French wife Sophie decided to take off for the Cote d Azur where he opened under his own name in Cannes right next to the Palais du Festival and the port. Neat has made a good start and on a first visit my wife and I enjoyed a brochette of scallops and filet of rabbit with olives. On the menu we also noticed a red mullet dish and oysters fried crisply over hollandaise sauce. In good weather you can dine out at the terrace tables.
