If you can manage a summer visit to Restaurant La Terrasse in Hotel Juana you might be lucky and catch the annual Jazz festival in Juan-Les-Pins, which is just sensational. On my last visit saxophone and trumpet sounds were just kicking in as I ordered my dessert. The Jazz bands perform by the beach, yards from La Terrasse. Chef Christian Morisset's cooking is superb. Try the scampi as a starter followed by lamb in Pauillac.It is the favourite Riviera hangout of famous American entertainer Bill Cosby whom I have had the pleasure of meeting there several times.
