There are not many restaurants as famous as Harry's Bar. It is known and loved by people from many countries. I know people who make special trips there every year. A Swedish friend of mine will fly in and take the vaporetto (water bus) straight to Harry's then have a long pleasant lunch and fly back! It is owned by Arrigo (Harry in Italian) Cipriani and was started by his late lather known as the «Commendatore». The cocktail is the Bellini — peach juice and Prosecco, Italian sparkling wine. The dish is Carpaccio — thin slices of raw beef filet, marinated. Both were named after famous Venetian painters.
