This is a very special place! International gastronomes from many parts of Europe travel here to enjoy Ferran Adria's extraordinary cooking. You have to book at least two months ahead to get a table as they are only open for dinner Tuesday through Sunday from March to September; but do check for last minute cancellations. El Bulli is situated in a beautiful bay surrounded by gardens on the shores of the Mediterranean. It is approached by a narrow mountain road from the little town of Roses. There is no major town nearby so you either go north from Barcelona (100 miles /165 kms) or south from Perpignan in France, which is what I recommend.
